Course Description:
This fast paced interactive two day training is designed to review the structure of the MDS 3.0 Assessment process and identify the numerous changes that have been made in 2015 and will be implemented in 2016. This is an important session for Nursing Home Administrators, clinical and financial leadership, and inter disciplinary team members. The MDS 3.0 data base is the foundation of care planning, payment and quality measurements (QM's) as well as the core of the data for regulatory review. In 2016, there will be many structural, definitional and data utilization changes.
*You will need a current MDS 3.0 RAI manual for this class; some may be available to purchase the day of the program - we recommend reserving a manual prior to the day of the program.
