Course Objectives:
  1. Review the content and structure of the MDS 3.0.
  2. Describe items new to the MDS 3.0 and identify the definitions.
  3. Discuss the assessment techniques and interviewing questions unique to the MDS 3.0.
  4. Describe the operational systems changes necessary to accomplish accurate assessments with the MDS 3.0 process.
  5. Discuss interdisciplinary participation and documentation requirements.
  6. Review the schedule of MDS Assessments and definitions of various data sets in the system.

Course Description:
