October 1st Changes in Data Accuracy Audits with CMS

2021 is a year of changes and increased operational focus as the industry adjusts to the FY2022 Final Rule, enhanced CMS focus on Data Accuracy and changes to the CMS Mapping with a focus on internal analytics and post payment review. This interactive session will address this consultant's top operational and clinical tips to decrease risks and increase compliance and secure proper payment. Analysis of HIPPS codes is a very important approach to document skilled services for Part A Medicare cases. This session will identify and describe HIPPS code audits process. Presenting a very interdisciplinary approach for operational and clinical success with focus on Data Formulation, Data Accuracy, Facility Data Base Review, internal audits and CMS oversight Audit Activities. Specific case studies will be discussed with operational and clinical approvals for success.
