Ethics Topics for Ohio Licensed Nursing Home Administrators (Healthcare Executives)

The BELTSS Board in Ohio will be requiring all LNHAs to submit one course of an Ethics course, effective with their 2024 renewal of the Core Ethics Code for Healthcare Executives will discuss the (4) specific expectations in the code. Discussion will include how the Code of Ethics should guide their decisions and actions on a daily basis. Ethical principles can guide the professional to make appropriate decisions as they are faced with ethical situations and proper decision making. A fast paced interactive session which will include a copy of the BELTSS Code of Ethics document. Objectives: 1) Understand the four areas of Ethical Expectations as part of the Code of Ethics 2) Discuss situations that could require ethical references or decisions explained in the Code of Ethics
