This fast-paced interactive learning session for operational, financial, and clinical professionals will define the newly revised F895 – Compliance and Ethics and present an overview of the FY 2023 Prospective Payment Final Rule. Specific strategies will be identified with implementation guidance to assist operational leadership to prepare for the new requirements. Case examples and documentation guidance will be discussed to improve efficiency and accuracy of data collection and policy development. A must do session for operational and clinical leadership.

Objectives: 1) Identify the revised surveyor guidance for the review of the facility Compliance and Ethics program 2) Discuss the seven elements of a complete Compliance and Ethics program for a skilled nursing facility 3) Review the key payment changes in the SNF Prospective Payment System final rule FY 2023 4) Describe the specific strategies facilities must adopt to take advantage of specific payment changes 5) Review case examples and policies to support increases in payment rates
