2022 – P.E.P.P.E.R. Reports- New Data – New Rules – New Target Areas

As the data in the Skilled Facility Database has changed with the implementation of the PDPM payment system, the structure content of the PEPPER Reports has been redesigned. This interactive session for operational, clinical, and fiscal managers will discuss the data formulating the reports, the newly defined Target Areas, and the new data specifications. With the entire redesign of the data content and reports, this session will do an in-depth discussion of each report. Risk management strategies will also be identified as each report content is reviewed. A must-do session for administrators, MDS nurses, CFOs, and Nursing Leadership.

Objectives:

1. Identify the structure and content of the PEPPER Reports

2. Discuss the changes to the PEPPER database and target areas with the implementation of PDPM Payment System

3. Review and discuss the specific PEPPER reports showing facility-specific data

4. Describe operational approaches to specific reports and high-risk data reported in the PEPPER format
