Course Description: |
The
purpose of this program is to educate health care professionals about
the impact dementia and related difficult behaviors can have on the
delivery of healthcare, and how to identify and implement behavior
management strategies as part of an overall team approach to improve
quality of life. This informative session will provide a strong understanding
of dementia and related behaviors, help you identify ways to avoid
onset of behaviors, and give you the tools to maximize your interactions
with residents experiencing behavior issues. |

Course Description: |
This
workshop is designed to enhance, broaden, educate and validate the
caregiver’s individual contributions to the residents’
Quality of Life and Life Satisfaction. Through lecture, demonstrations,
team sharing and role-playing, the instructor will guide the participants
to more exciting and rewarding experiences with their residents
on a daily basis.
- To increase the caregiver’s attentiveness to the individuality
of their residents.
- To empower the caregiver with knowledge and understanding of
true life satisfaction for themselves and others.
- The encourage the caregiver to utilize their own creative abilities
and talent in order to enhance the residents’ life satisfaction.

Professionals.

and their current job responsibilities.
