Course Description:
This is a discussion about various types of Dementias and Related Disorders. Similarities between them and differences that distinguish them are presented. Helpful interventions for behaviors that may occur are also included.
  1. To enhance knowledge and awareness of different kinds of Dementia.
  2. To differentiate between Depression, Delirium, and Dementia.
  3. To discuss Alzheimer's Disease and its characteristics.
  4. To offer strategies for managing challenging and difficult behaviors.

    5. Pre-registering is required as seating is limited.
